Top 10 countries of the total Canada PR admissions in the first half of 2020

 

103,420 immigrants welcomed by Canada in first half of 2020. Of these, 25.7% had India as their country of origin.

China followed India as the second-largest source country for Canada immigrants. In the first half of 2020, Canada awarded permanent residence to 10,150 immigrants with China as their country of origin. With 3,870 immigrants gaining Canada PR in the first 6 months of 2020, the US took the third spot.
