Quebec announces three pilot programs, to be launched in 2021

On October 28, 2020, Quebec’s Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration [MIFI] has announced a “draft regulation for the implementation of three new permanent immigration pilot programs”.

Rules on the intake of immigration applications – from November 1, 2020 to November 1, 2021 – were also announced at the same time.

  Canada held its 17th Express Entry Draw on September 1, 2021. In this draw it invited 635 Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates to  apply for permanent residence . Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held  this draw with a cutoff score of 764, because the provincial nomination itself is worth of 600 points in the  Express Entry system .
