The UK reveals new immigration rules for businesses

 

From January 1, 2021, employers in the UK will require a Sponsor Licence in order to hire most of the skilled workers from outside the UK.

Most businesses looking to hire EU nationals from January 2021 onwards will be required to get a sponsor licence. There are certain differences between the new rules and the existing sponsorship system.

The  38-year-old Reuters photojournalist  whose images riveted the world, was killed on July 16 while on an assignment covering the  Afghanistan-Taliban conflict  in  Spin Boldak, Kandahar .    According to Reuters, he was reporting on fighting between Afghan commandos and Taliban fighters when he was hit in the arm by a shrapnel. He received first aid and by then, the Taliban fighters had retreated from fighting. Arrima draw in Quebec invited 502 candidates

  On August 19, 2021, Quebec held its Arrima draw and invited 502 immigration candidates to apply for permanent residence. The MIFI (Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration) has issued these 502 invitations under Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program (QSWP). Candidates who have registered the Expression of Interest (EOI) in Quebec’s online registration portal, Arrima, are eligible to receive these. Read More

  It was 2002, she was all of 26, had just gotten married and begun a career as a teacher. But  Satarupa Majumder  was far from satisfied.
