The digital proof of vaccination can be produced to officials at the border of the visiting foreign country. This will be to make sure that travelers are in compliance with health requirements.
Travelers will also get to submit the vaccination proof in the ArriveCAN app on their return travel to Canada.
Travelers, including Canada PR, citizens, and temporary residents may travel without vaccination proof. In that case, they will have to comply with restrictions in the visiting foreign country. They will also be put under mandatory quarantine as well as a testing process when they come back to Canada. This was mentioned in a statement by IRCC released lately.
The statement also said that the Canadian government is collaborating with its territories and provinces to develop a pan-Canadian approach that’s secure and effective.
