Pratik Thakker: Israel’s tech ambassador to India is bridging the digital divide between the two countries

 

Mumbai-born Pratik Thakker’s definition of success does not typically end with accomplishing a particular goal or purpose. As an Indian digital and tech entrepreneur based in Tel Aviv, Pratik, who is also Israel’s tech ambassador to India, feels that one can do more even after being successful, hence creating a long-lasting impact. 

“We are all capable of more than we believe and we are stronger than our fears.” 

Weathering storms in India and abroad, Pratik’s rise from a cherubic youngster selling firecrackers to becoming the CEO of his own company has been nothing short of phenomenal. Since his childhood, Pratik has donned a variety of hats. Apart from firecrackers, this enterprising salesman has also sold pickles and garments to master the art of selling. 

He eventually found his groove as a stock analyst: while pursuing a formal education, Pratik was keen on learning new skills, something that can be acquired purely through hands-on experience.
