Express Entry: Another 4,500 receive invitations to apply for Canada PR

 Express Entry Draw invites 4,500 CEC candidates

Another round of invitations has been held, within a day of the previous draw, under the Express Entry system of Canada.

Launched in 2015, the Express Entry system is an online application management system managed by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada [IRCC] on behalf of the federal government of Canada.

On July 8, 2021, another 4,500 were invited by IRCC to submit their application for permanent residence in Canada. This time around, the focus was on Canada immigration hopefuls that had recent Canadian experience, thereby making them eligible for the Canadian Experience Class [CEC].

The previous Express Entry draw was held on July 7, 2021.

Compared to the same time last year, Canada has issued almost double the invitations in 2021.

The Express Entry inductions target for 2020 was that of 107,350. As per the 2021-2023 Immigration Levels Plan, a total of 401,000 are to be welcomed by Canada in 2021. Of these, 108,500 are to be through IRCC Express Entry. Read More
